6月8日 Half a year had passed . . .Is already 08 June 2008, time really flies ! Just saw my msn space, the last blog entry was in 2007 Dec (X'Mas) ... haha
 a good time to update now for half a year had passed ... Jan - Mar : mainly working, could not recalled much, tried to maintain my running but to no avail, lacked motivation nowadays ... wondered why? Anyway besides the usual stuff, a good NS friend's wedding, haha being the "brother" part is not simple; many things to look out for to ensure the smooth flow.
Went travelling to Taiwan, 1st - 12th April 2008. A totally new experience as compared to yr 2000 (when i went there for training).
  Taiwanese people are friendly and helpful. The weather then was rainy (Taipei). As for their food, needless to say ... is great, a must go - the night markets ! Took many photos (enjoy)!May - Jun : 3 weddings (uncle, colleague and primary school friend) to attend
 . Seems like this year is a good year for marriage, more weddings to attend  till end of year ... just completed the Passion Run - 10 km today, the knees are going to give way soon  Before i end, just a little prayer for those who died in the natural disasters that occurred ...
12月23日 A Walk Down Orchard Road : Create Your Own Fairytale Christmas in Singapore22 Dec 2007 Saturday 1830 hrs Nothing much to do actually, seen most of the movies, bought the presents for the coming gift exchange, so decided to take a walk down X'Mas Light Up @ Orchard Road - dressed with Christmas decorations ... It had been drizzling since 1600 hrs so the weather was quite cooling. There were many people out in the streets, probably doing their last minute shopping during the precious weekends where work was put aside for the time being. Many adults were armed with umbrellas while the kids wore their raincoats ... seems like it was inevitable that rain would pour during this period of time in Singapore! And for those who refused to heed the advice of the weather forecast, they walked in the rain ! A scene too good to be missed, just enjoying the pace of others, some ran, others strolled, couples holding hands and the little ones playing, kicking the water along their way. Escorted by the security personnels, these nicely decorated parade vehicles made their way to Marina!
Saw this lovely X'mas tree in Meritus Mandarin Hotel ... 12月21日 10 more days ... Bye 2007, Welcome 2008 !Time flies ... unknowingly 2007 is coming to an end! Looking back, not much changes happened this year. Still keeping myself fit by running, had not been to the gym for so long but realised that housework is also a good form of exercise! Completed my marathon on 2nd Dec, am thinking whether I should continue running such long distances, feeling the strain on my left knee or merely an excuse to stop ? Anyway I'd been eating a lot after the marathon, perhaps there were more gatherings nearer the end of the year!! So happy to meet up with old friends and at the same time, making new ones. Glad to know most are doing fine, Cheers!
Work remains the same - I termed it 'The Neverending Story'. Life is a Learning process, never a destination, Expect the unexpected, Adapt and Adjust, Relationship and Never give up ... it would keep you going when the going gets tough. Quoted from my supervisor 'Things will happen again, only different players' - just reinforced the work of life.
This year, I did not travel overseas but looking forward to next year April - Taiwan trip! Still like to take photos - not a professional but just like to retain the beautiful images of moment, be it people or scenary.
Movies - one of my favourite past time. You cannot be in every profession and definitely do not have enough time in this world to make all the mistakes, so this is it ... movies allow you to travel back in time or move forward to the future, be the truth seeker who break the codes to find the real meaning or the warlord who kept brotherhood with his life. Never mind about those ratings, the debate would not end. Just remember reality is out there when you leave the theater, so leave your thoughts at the seat, don't bring them out as it doesn't serve much purposes.

11月16日 Swissotel Vertical Marathon 2007Date: 11.11.2007, Sunday Time: 0730 hrs Venue: Swissotel the Stamford, Singapore For the 3rd year, we had gathered and challenged ourselves to the top of the Southeast Asia's tallest hotel, Swissotel the Stamford. It was definitely not easy, climbing 73-storey but the satisfaction of The view on top remains very much the same... Yes, the Singapore Flyer seems ready to ferry passengers in 2008!! Special mention: This year's medal is different from the past 2 years. Is bigger with a new design ...
After all the photo takings on top, we took the lift down to collect our certificates and the next challenge began, queuing up for the "famous" Donut Factory ...
